A year ago, our lives changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. On this anniversary of the lockdown we would like to share our thoughts on all of our survival.
Everyone struggled at different levels – some may have lost a job, mourned the death of a loved one, experienced mental and physical difficulties from loneliness, or felt the stress of not knowing what the next day will bring. Many families coped with children attending virtual school or the anxiety of their children with special needs from the lack of any activities.
Understanding these struggles have allowed our firm to focus on caring for our clients and staff as well as protecting them. In this process, we learned a lot about ourselves and confirmed our commitment toward our client’s personal and financial wellbeing. Since the market lows we faced last March, we have seen an unprecedented run that has seen highs that would seem unthinkable a year ago. Maintaining a portfolio personalized and suitable for your needs is a priority for us.
Amidst all the chaos and challenges faced, we are optimistic going forward. Vaccines are starting to be distributed to all adults in Michigan starting on April 5th, small businesses are opening up again, and the warmer weather is coming to boost our spirits and immune systems. We all want to contribute to help stimulate the local economy, and not see our favorite restaurants, stores, or businesses close.
We will continue to work with you closely and meet any challenges that come our way.
